"Francis Ernest Bolt"

Frank Bolt, brother (cousin?) to Thomas and George Bolt??, immigrated from Wales to Halifax at the turn of the century.  He brought Belgian Clydesdale horses with him and upon moving to Toronto, he hauled granite boulders to build the Central Train Station in downtown Toronto.  Frank's wife Mary came with him from Wales, but she died in 1919 at 36 years old from scarlet fever.  Her first child Eric George only lived seven months and died on December 21st. 1916.   Frank later married Sara and fathered Donald, Jean and Edith.  Edith married John Blyth and they had a family of four children, Sandra, Patricia, Ken and Barbara.

I mention Frank on March 28th. in my Pow-Wow diary, when he helped the nurse from Abernethy on her way to doctor Doughertys' using George Fennemore's team.  The next day he took medicine to Blyths' for my brother Clarence to pick up for baby Irene Dougherty.
