Thomas Gunn

My Grandfather Thomas Gunn (on mother's side) was born at Bristol England on March 24th, 1844.  He married Amelia Ann Alford from Devonshire and fathered my Aunt Caroline (Carrie) before immigrating to Canada sometime after 1872.  They settled at Peterboro where he was self-employed as a brush maker.  My mother Jessie was born in 1879 after older siblings William Charles and Emma Maude.  Amelia later bore three more children, John, Percy and Aunt Nell (Nellie).  Grandpa Thomas came to Copeland when I was just a lad.
