The passing of Angnes Traquair, age 88 of Melfort, occurred in the Melfort Union Hospital on Sunday, July 29th, 1979.  The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 1st, 1979 at 2:00 p.m. at Foote-Copeland United Church, conducted by Rev. James Trembley.  Surviving are a daughter Dorothy Revell of Melfort, a son Ian of Regina, twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, William in May, 1959 and daughter Beth Simpson in January 1972.  Mrs. Traquair was born in Denny, Stirlingshire, Scotland.  She came to Canada with her husband in 1919 to farm in the Dafoe district of Saskatchewan.  The retired to Saskatoon from the farm in 1949.  In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Arthritic Society, 4-1651 11th Avenue, Regina, S4P 0H5.
