John was my younger cousin who was injured while serving overseas in world war two.  He returned to Canada as an invalid and lived in care homes for the rest of his life.  My other cousin Ted Wallace, John's younger brother, now resides in Saskatoon.  John was only 11 years old when I wrote my 1933 diaries and I neglected to mention him.
